Job Title: Clinical Lab Scientist Kaiser North Hollywood is looking for a licensed CLS to assist their Chemistry department. This is a full time AM shift position that will start early June. Please be apply for more information! Job Description Perform routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. You will be responsible for the operation of the laboratory. Responsibilities + Perform technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology. + Report test results following clinic protocols, alerting providers and/or nurses about abnormal results. + Ensure quality control in collecting specimens, ensure appropriate sampling, and maintain accurate record keeping. + Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies. Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment. + Comply with all laboratory policies and OSHA regulations related to safety, cleanliness, and infection control. + Serve as a back-up to the Lab Manager as needed. Essential Skills + Proficiency in laboratory, medical laboratory, and clinical laboratory practices. + Valid MTA License. Work Environment This position is located in a regional reference lab. The work environment involves handling medical laboratory equipment and requires adherence to safety protocols. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $63.00/hr.
