Job Title: Chinese-Speaking Hair Stylist (Commission-Based)

Location: 9PM Salon – Bellevue, WA

Employment Type: Independent Contractor / Commission-Based

As our Chinese-speaking clientele continues to grow, we’re seeking a talented and bilingual Hair Stylist to join our team. Our salon specializes in quality, custom hair services for a diverse community.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a Chinese-speaking Hair Stylist fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese to provide exceptional service to our clients. This is a commission-based position, with stylists earning 40% of the billed amount for services performed. The ideal candidate brings professionalism, creativity, and a passion for client care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality hair services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and make expert recommendations
• Communicate fluently in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) and English
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with health regulations
• Stay informed on the latest hair trends and techniques
• Build and retain a loyal client base through excellent customer service
• Recommend salon products and additional services

Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State Cosmetology License
• Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese (Required); English communication skills (Preferred)
• At least 1 year of professional salon experience (Preferred but not required)
• Friendly and professional demeanor
• Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

Compensation:

• 40% commission on the total billed amount for all services performed
• Additional product sales commission opportunities
• 100% of tips go directly to the stylist
• Flexible schedule with supportive environment
• Potential for future booth rental or expanded hours
